This project contemplates the creation of a transversal road in the G-4 Park, communicating the street Calle de la Ciencia with thr Camino de San Jerónimo de Murtra. The Park of the G-4 has considerable dimensions, located in the Montigalà district of Badalona, inaugurated in 1994. It is an area of forest meadow, with pines, cork oaks and Mediterranean bush.
The project aims to formalize a path, with minimal impact on the park and the existing greenery, which facilitates the routes and connections through the park, creating along its layout both spaces for leisure activities and living spaces. That is why relationships have been established between the points of departure, arrival and crossing of the new road with the existing routes within the field of intervention, so that the new route is established on the site with the least visual and topographic impact. In this way it is possible to add a new axis to the arterial routes of the park while connecting two relevant streets of the municipality through this green space. It is planned to maintain the existing vegetation in the park while adding native vegetation.
There is also an area for children’s games on the edge of the road with the camino de la Ciencia that will be linked to the future equipment of the School Cuna, foreseen in this area. The new road adapts to the existing levels that connect it with the existing urban routes and with the other paths of the park, being the whole route completely accessible, complying with the current legislation in this matter.
